Cool treats to beat summer heat

Rosemarie Deck and Long County Family Connection Executive Director William Miller spoke to the crowd, and Capt. Lyde Andrews offered an invocation.

Jubilee Choir entertains Goldenheris

The Jubilee choir, the senior group of First Baptist Church, presented the July program for Goldenheirs. Directed by Elaine Walker, the choir sang patriotic and traditional numbers. The Goldenheirs meet at noon on the first Tuesday of each month at First Baptist Church in Hinesville. All seniors are invited.
