Cpl. Jerry Britting, K-9 handler of the Hinesville Police Department, has been selected by Hinesville Masonic Lodge 271 F&AM to receive the 2015 Masonic Civil Servant Award. Britting was hired in 2006, progressed through the ranks and became a corporal in 2012. In 2009, he became the second K-9 handler the HPD history.
