Eighteen join AKA sorority

The Nu Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has announced the induction of 18 new sorority members into the local Hinesville chapter. Women of various professions recently received the honored status of becoming an "Alpha Kappa Alpha Woman." Nu Rho Omega chapter has served the local community for more than 25 years and continues to do so. New members are LaShawn Bacon, Teresa Bacon, Tomeka Barron, Claudia Bryant, Denise Burghoy, Stephanie Carter, Dorothy Cottom, Lydia Harris, Tynisa Jones, Melicent Lucas, Jonita Martin, Shannon McFadden, LaShonda Miller, Valeria Richards, Paulette Robertson, Minnie Stafford, April Torres and Edith Wright.
