Liberty Cycle, owned by the Jenkinson family, celebrated 30 years of business in Hinesville on Saturday.
Liberty Coastal Lions Club President Lil Shurtleff recently delivered 10 muslin dolls to Chief Kelly Morningstar of the Midway Police Department. The dolls were made by St. Philip's Episcopal Church Women of Hinesville. The dolls do not have any features, allowing children to create their own doll. These dolls will be placed in the Midway Police Department vehicles and used when children are involved in an accident or any incident.
The Hinesville Area Board of Realtors on May 15 showed its support for Relay for Life by being "Super Realtors" fighting against cancer. The board raised more than $6,000 in donations for Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. The board thanks everyone who bought a raffle ticket to help raise funds.
