Jubilee Choir entertains Goldenheris

The Jubilee choir, the senior group of First Baptist Church, presented the July program for Goldenheirs. Directed by Elaine Walker, the choir sang patriotic and traditional numbers. The Goldenheirs meet at noon on the first Tuesday of each month at First Baptist Church in Hinesville. All seniors are invited.

Veterans to take wounded warriors fishing

Scores of soldiers assigned to Fort Stewart' Wounded Warriors Battalion are being treated to a free fishing event at Stewart's Pond No. 1, also called Pineview Lake. According to retired Command Sgt.
