FPCA students help run meeting for Rotary

FPCA Middle School Interact Club members conducted most of the Hinesville Rotary Club meeting on Oct. 17. Besides showing their parliamentary skills, the students met area business men and women, and more. Club members praised the students for how they represented their school. Standing with FPCA representatives are Rotarian Jack Standard, left, next to his father, Andrew Standard, who is CEO Coastal Area District Development Authority. Andrew Standard presented the program at the meeting about what CADDA does. With offices in Brunswick and Savannah, the organization provides and managers loans that help business in the region.

Savannah Stopover Music Festival Announces 2018 Poster Contest

The Savannah Stopover Music Festival announced a poster competition to create the official poster for the 2018 festival, which will take place March 8th-10th, 2018 in Savannah's Historic District. "This is the 8th year of the poster contest and we're thrilled to be bringing it back, with a slight twist", said Kayne Lanahan, the festival's founder.
