Smiley Elementary teachers celebrate retirement

Faculty members of Smiley Elementary joined to honor Nancy Carter and John Carter for their years of dedication and service as Georgia educators. A celebratory dinner was held at the Jekyll Island Resort, and a PowerPoint presentation, which depicted two lives obviously dedicated to family and teaching, served as a tribute to the retirees.

Borquaye, an obstetrician, started the organization as a way to further education and health for the people in his native country, Ghana.
