Fort Stewart soldier Spc. Nathan Currie with the 756th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company, was awarded the highest peacetime medal in the Army, the Soldiers Medal at Club Stewart Feb. 26. He received the medal for saving the life of a local woman.
