Treadmill desks in action at LFMS

Four science classrooms have a different classroom dynamic at Lewis Frasier Middle School, where officials hope to combat childhood obesity and blood pressure issues by adding movement to students' days. Five treadmills -- one in the media center is reserved for teachers and staff -- were made possible through a Georgia SHAPE grant, and school nurse Peggy Rayman hopes to expand the program.
