Who was to blame for the federal debt ceiling/budget crisis?

You should have had one for politicians no matter what party they belong to. Both parties are equally stubborn, unwilling to compromise and puts their own agenda ahead of the needs of the people who voted them into office. The public is at fault for allowing it to happen.

beleive it are not the president is not the cause of the debt business. We have the right person in office, but the people is not giving him a chance to prove what he can do. He is being cut down before he got started good. He did said things are not going to change over night. We need to stop talking and pray.
