Who’s winning Saturday’s Florida-Georgia game?

I like Georgia, but in my opinion, the DAWGS Defense has become a very vunerable and a push over in stopping the run. It is inexcusable when you have the talent that the Bulldogs have and the depth as well. Georgia Defense this season alone have gievn up mor than 600 yards on the ground in their last three games alone. A year ago, Georgia have given up about 1400 yards all season. So you see what the problem. Georgia has an explosive offense with two of the best true freshman running backs in the nation along with Junior Quarterback Aaron Murray. This is the best Offense I have seen since Mark Richt has arrrived at Georgia as the Head Football Coach. This offense is even better than the Team of David Green (Quarterback) and David Pollard, and also Matthew Stafford (Quarterback) and Knoeshawn Moreno Runningback whom all made it in the NFL. This Offense can and will put points on the board and is a better offense than the Florida Gators. But the Gators Defense have been superb since opening season beating #3 rank LSU , and destroying South Carolina, a team whom hammered Georgia 35-7 two weeks ago. If Georgia's Defense does not straighten up, and play mistake free football, stopping the run and defending the passing game, they will not beat Florida, and their chances of winning the SEC East will be gone up in smoke. If Georgia wins this coming Saturday, then they will control their own destiny. This will be a showdown in Jacksonville, Florida. Home of the Worlds Largest Cocktail Party. Winner of this game will take the SEC East.

I heard that Defensive Captain Shawn Williams have called out his defensive teammates as "Playing Soft". I don't know, but maybe, just maybe this might be enough spark to ignite the Bulldogs defense. The Dawgs have the talent, and ability to beat Florida. As a matter of fact, the Dawgs should have been undefeated this year. Just too much complacency, no sense of urgency, and the defense are not playing up to their potential. It was stated that those players on the defense are more concerned about their NFL Draft Status, and not injuring themselves so that their chances are better in getting drafted. But do they know that NFL Scouts watch every play, every down that is played related to their position? Florida won ugly games this year and have not beaten teams convincingly, but they in retrospect, they have beaten at the time #3 Ranked LSU, and they routed #6 South Carolina, a theam that Hammered Georgia 35-7. In addition, they are undefeated, and they are the team to beat to win the SEC Eastern Division Title. Georgia's Offense are a lot better than Florida's offense. But what makes Florida so much better this year is that Will Muschamp got those players in better physical condition to endure the grinding of four quarters. That Gator Defense is exceptional, along with their Special Teams. In that Florida- South Carolina Game last week, it was not the Offense that won that game. It was the Defense, and the Special Teams. They cause picks, they cause fumbles, and they capitalized on everyone of them which lead the Floirda Offense to score. This is a prime example the show how Defense win games. All the Offense has to do is show up, and not turn the ball over. Remember last year in the regular season game between LSU, and Alabama? LSU won by kicking field goals only. No touchdown was scored in the entire game. If the Dawgs expect any chance of winning, they had better be clicking on all cylinders, or this game could be a very painful one mentally, and physically. I am a Dawg Fan. But I am also realistic. Watching their past performances, (Defensively Speaking) I don't see Georgia beating Florida. Florida's Defense is so strong, so large, and so fast. Hardly anyone is giving Georgia a chance at winning this game, including myself. But, I hope the Dawgs pulls this off. I will be pulling for the Dawgs.
