A man drove through the Hinesville Kroger late Wednesday night, causing considerable damage to the store at 555 W. Oglethorpe Highway.

A store employee said the man told him to evacuate the store and, moments later, the unidentified man drove his vehicle into the building and down an aisle, headed toward the backof the store. He then backed up and returned to the front of the store. Officers arrived shortly thereafter and arrested the man.

 No one was injured.
