April Burriss, vice president of VIP Office Furniture and Supply, recently went to Washington, D.C., with Juanita Strickland, a VIP consultant.

They attended the 2017 National Office Products Alliance Small Business Advocacy Fly-In, which the regional business is invited to yearly. After a briefing on legislative and regulatory issues of concern to the industry, they spent a day visiting elected officials and staff on Capitol Hill.

“Everyone we met with on Capitol Hill was very engaged and truly appeared interested in what we had to say,” Strickland said.
