The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce had a ribbon cutting on Sept. 15 for H.E.R Wellness Center, LLC at 1763 Hwy. 196 W., Hinesville (the old Multi Agency Crack Enforcement building).

Chamber CEO, Leah Poole, gave the welcome and introduced speakers, state Rep. Al Williams, D-Midway; Liberty County Commission Chairman Donald Lovette; Daisy Jones of Tealiris Legacy; Dr. Seth Borquaye of Liberty Regional Medical Center and Liberty County Chamber Board Chairwoman Karen Bell. They talked of support and congratulations to Dr. Patrice Moore and her staff. Minister Douglas Carter said a prayer and blessed the new gynecology practice.

"At H.E.R Wellness Center, we will offer a unique approach to weight loss which integrates medical management, nutrition counseling with meal preparation recommendations, and various fitness classes to be held at the actual practice location," Moore said. "Through the nurturing of women, we hope to provide awareness and promote wellness in the Hinesville community."

The center offers gynecology care to women of all ages spanning from preadolescence to post menopause. In addition, the center will host classes and events to promote healthy lifestyle habits and decisions. For more information or to book an appointment, call 912-358-2016 or visit its website at
