Three locally-owned and operated businesses were featured in a recent online article in Southern Living magazine, thanks to the efforts of Liberty County Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCCVB) as the destination marketing organization for Liberty County.

Sunbury was listed as one of “15 Incredible Solo Vacation Spots to Take in the South.”

The article recommended a stay at Dunham Farms, a bed and breakfast, as well as a meal at the Sunbury Crab Company as part of a luxury retreat.

The two photographs chosen to display what readers may see when they visit Liberty County are by Miranda Sutphen of CameraKoala Photography.

“We are honored and privileged to be able to feature our local photographers and showcase their love of Liberty County,” said LCCVB CEO Leah Poole. “We are always pleased beyond measure to see these pictures posted elsewhere and know that we are helping expose our beautiful community to people all over the world.

“It’s a testament to the hard work of the Liberty CVB, specifically Erin Johnson, creative and content coordinator, and Claudette Schomburg, public information coordinator, that keeps our county in top of mind awareness for things like this.”
