Richardson reportedly leaving Liberty basketball

According to news reports four-star guard Will Richardson, who played basketball for Liberty County High School the past two seasons, is transferring to Oak Hill Academy for his senior year.

Rated by some recruiting services as the No. 4 guard in the state ,15th guard in the nation and 68th player in the nation, the 6-foot 4-inch tall Richardson has received more than a dozen offers from Division I Universities.

Former Liberty County basketball player Rion Brown has signed to play one season for JDA Dijon in the European Basketball League. The team is based out of France.

Brown is no stranger to the Euro league. He has played for Hapoel Tel Aviv, Basic-Fit Brussels and last season he played for the Finnish team Joensuun Kataja. He has played in 74 career games with 65 career starts to date.

Former Faith Baptist Christian Academy and University of Georgia basketball player JJ Frazier has also reportedly signed with Dijon. Recently Frazier was among eight free agents trying out for the Charlotte Hornets.

Frazier’s former Faith Baptist teammate JaQuez Motley has signed to play with Dongbu Lujun in China. Collegiately he played for East Georgia College and Coker.
