Outnumbered Highlanders fall to Dublin, drop to 0-4

POSTED: September 6, 2017 8:30 a.m.

The FPCA Highlanders lost on Friday night to the Crusaders in Dublin, 63-0.

Taking the field after a two hour lightning delay, the Highlanders started the game down three players on an already small roster. The Crusaders dominated the game, leaving FPCA struggling to gain yards. In their fourth consecutive loss, the Highlanders are now 0-4 for the season.

“Trinity is a tough team”, coach William Roberts said. “They are strong and well coached. My kids are playing ironman and Trinity has over 40 on their roster. That plays a big part in our defeat. We will contine to fight and continue to improve.”

The Highlanders will host St. Andrews on Friday. Last season, the Highlanders lost to the Lions 47-12.

The game will be at Long Bell Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.
