Liberty County High School football player Tramel Walthour signed his letter of intent Wednesday morning to play football for the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

Flanked by friends, family and fellow football players the outgoing Panther noted today was a dream come true.

Walthour had 138 solo career tackles and 80 assists in 45 games played as a Panther. He notched 35 tackles for loss of yards. He had 10 career sacks, two interceptions, three fumble recoveries and deflected two passes.

Walthour started playing varsity since his freshman year at Liberty County High School.

According to 247 Sports, Walthour had offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Chattanooga, Florida Atlantic, Georgia State, Kansas State, Ohio State, Purdue, Samford, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Western Kentucky, Alabama, Clemson, Florida and Kentucky.

But the 6-foot, 4 inch tall 260 pound, three star defensive tackle said playing for UGA was his dream since he was seven.

He had verbally committed to UGA Sept. 18, 2017.
