In honor of Veterans Day, here is a list of notable scores from war movies.

Films about war and the sacrifices of servicemen and servicewomen can provide a perspective, however limited, about what the life of a soldier is like for those who have never served.

What can be particularly emotionally appealing are the musical scores from these movies. Done right, scores can be the catalyst for a deep emotional connection with the characters and story.
