Sound Off Jan. 4

To the person calling about their children picking up in the lockeroom at school: Your children are nasty. They don’t even pick up on the campus and they throw stuff on the floor intentionally. So please don’t pick on the custodians. They are doing their job. Teach your children to pick up after themselves.

It is nice that everybody is telling us to go to small businesses to have things accomplished. It would be nice if the small businesses would do their jobs right the first time so they wouldn’t have to lose money. That’s why we have to go to Savannah.

The people that work on the electrical stuff, like washers and dryers, they don’t finish their jobs. They just take your money. That’s wrong. We’ve got at least one like that in Hinesville.

It’s Dec. 14. Am I going to have to wait until Jan. 20, when Donald Trump is swore in, to find out who won the election in Lennox Valley? For crying out loud, Courier, why are you postponing putting this out? Is there a recount or something?

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m holding my breath until Jan. 20, hoping that our president-elect doesn’t make a whole lot more mistakes. Then I’m hoping I don’t have to hold it for the next four years.

I cannot believe Liberty County is trying to tax Fort Stewart. This shows just how greedy this county can be. I guess SPLOST is not enough money. This is a total disgrace.

The Catholic Pope just turned 80 last week and he said age is a thirst for knowledge.

I’d like to think this time of year brings peace and joy to all. It doesn’t seem like it around here, though.
To the people who are against the proposed Gumbranch subdivision they should contact USEPA region IV and the GA DEP. after reading the newspaper article it sounds like the Federal and State clean water acts laws have been violated and the Federal and State Governments need to do an enforcement action to correct this matter. A better question is why was this approved when it appears the council had no insight into these laws.

If you are a healthcare professional and you want to keep your license/certification do not work at Liberty Regional!
