"It is a terrible tragedy that happened in Las Vegas. So many people injured and lost their lives. This is a time to reflect and to realize of what is truly important in life. We can be here today and gone tomorrow. Let’s all try to get along and do the right thing and respect each other."

"I want to commend the new chamber on what they’re doing in the county. At first I wasn’t sure what sort of organization they were or why we needed two chambers. I admit I let local gossip and fearmongering influence that, which I regret. Now I understand and hope to join them along with a few other business owners that are not minorities."

"Teachers and paraprofessionals at LHE, do you think you can dress more appropriately! Mr. Stickler do you think you can talk with your staff on how they dress! Legging and flip flops are unacceptable!"

"To the Oct. 4 caller questioning the football team’s dinner at Longhorn, that was one parent’s donation. That parent never asked for recognition, though they deserve it, and shouldn’t need to justify such a generous gift. And as far as any other team goes, your booster club is only as good as the parents involved. Step it up."

"What Liberty County needs is a nice enema. That might clean things up a little bit."

"So, wait. Let me get this straight. The teachers you come in to contact with are displaying their bare backs and breasts? I think you may have accidentally walked into The Silver Dollar."

"Where are the shade trees at Oglethorpe Square? I want to park under them while the weather is still warm."
