"This is walking man in the old Fraser Acres Subdivision. I’m slightly hearing impaired and cars run so quietly I can’t hear them coming. I don’t want drivers to think I’m not getting out of their way deliberately."

"Diana Reid you’re doing a good job. We appreciate everything you’re doing. Keep it up."

"So between the hospital authority and county commissioners, my property taxes will go up $200. And you’re talking about adding a $300 fire tax on top of that. Get ready for a taxpayer revolt."

"The reason I read the Courier, I’m a senior citizen and don’t have a computer, don’t need one, is that once in a while the Courier has interesting news, especially recently with local politics. And I don’t want no more water. I want my water bill to go down."

"Request high school transcript before allowing someone to run for an elected office. I believe the city would not have some of these in the positions they are currently holding. From high school until now, some people education level hadn’t change."

"Here’s a simple solution for every Democrat senator, representative, and citizen opposed to the new tax reform bill: April 15, 2018, file Form 1040 EZ! If you file any other form, you are a hypocrite! God bless our Congress and President Trump."

"Sen. Perdue have you read the tax plan or are you just voting yes. For someone who says they are fiscally responsible you are becoming a clone of Donald Trump. Will vote you out the next election."

"The hospital needs to be able to let people cash in their time off before they start to lose employees."
