The members of the First Preparatory Christian Academy boys basketball team were honored by the Hinesville City Council at the March 21 meeting.

 The Highlanders were runners-up in the GIAA Class A state championship, falling to Monsignor Donovan Catholic out of Athens in the state championship game.
