AARP celebrates Earth Day

The local AARP Chapter 5031, along with Liberty County Recreation Department workers, recently celebrated Earth Day by planting ligustrums at Stafford Recreation Park. Chapter members said they wanted to do something to benefit the community and the world, so they chose a project to make the community cleaner, greener and healthier.
