Live Oak Public Libraries programs at the Liberty and Midway-Riceboro branches for August are as follows:
 
Liberty Branch

This entertainer delights children using scarves, rhythm sticks, bugs, shakers, bubbles and more in this highly interactive sound and music show. For ages 3 and up.

Midway-Riceboro Branch
• American Music, Song and Dance Celebration with Bess Chapman
Aug. 4 at 1 p.m.
Bess Chapman will provide  a fun, musical program. For ages 3 and up.
• Tea & Tales book group
Aug. 9 at 5:30 p.m.
The group will discuss “The Red Tent” by Anita Diamant.
Aug, 30 at 5:30 p.m.
The group will dicuss “The Librarian” by Larry Beinhart

Computer classes
• Introduction to Word (Liberty) Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. A beginners’ course. Learn how to create, print and save a document. Prerequisite: Introduction to Windows or equivalent knowledge. To register, call the library at 368-4003.
• Introduction to Excel (Liberty): Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. Learn how to create a simple spreadsheet and add graphs. Prerequisite:  Introduction to Word or similar skills. Call 368-4003 to register.
• Email (Liberty): Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. Learn how to sign up for free email and send attachments. Prerequisite: Introduction to the Internet or comparable experience. To register, call the library at 368-4003.
