Liberty Regional Medical Center is having a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 28, at the hospital.

Presenting donors will be entered into a raffle for $25 if the drive results in five units more than the goal of 21. If the drive collects 10 units over the goal, the raffle prize will be increased to $50.

According to Red Cross, there is a critical blood shortage and they are asking for donations from eligible donors of all types.
