The Blue Star Memorial By-Way Marker was developed by the National Garden Clubs as a tribute to the men and women of the U.S. armed forces. The marker will be erected in Main Street Park at 2 p.m. on Wednesday and is sponsored by the Morning Glory Garden Club of Hinesville and the Oleander District of the State Garden Club of Georgia, in cooperation with the Department of the Army, Fort Stewart and the city of Hinesville.
