On Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 30 and 31, the Morning Glory Garden Club is sponsoring camellia exhibits in the lobbies of The Coastal Bank and The Heritage Bank.
Other banks will be targeted later.
The enthusiastic cooperation of bank officials made Garden Club President, Judy Shippey happy; "I am really pleased that they were so willing to allow us to bring the opportunities to enjoy the beauties of the camellia blooms and the educational opportunities to learn some of the names of the blooms, to the banking customers of Hinesville."
You don't have to be a member of the Garden Club to exhibit prize specimens. They will be staged in a special section of the exhibit.
Anyone, member or not, who would like to show off their favorite blooms, should bring them to either of the above banks on Wednesday morning. Someone from the club will be there to furnish a container and register the variety name.
The public is encouraged to view the exhibits and enjoy the beauty during the cold of winter.
