Helen Way Scott, widow of the late Norman Scott Sr., from the Holmestown community near Mdway, turns 90 Monday.

The milestone will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Dorchester Academy on Highway 84 in Midway.   

Scott said she feels  blessed to see hit this milestone and that she hopes see many more birthdays, “if it is God’s will.”

She said all friends and family, including children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren from all over the United States and some from overseas will be present.

Scott said her daily prayer is, “Thank you, Lord for taking care of me.”
