Sophia Marie Whitehurst was born at 3:37 p.m. Oct. 3 to Clare Zajac of Hinesville and Mark Whitehurst of Hinesville.

Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Sophia weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and measured
20 inches.

The baby’s maternal grandfather is David Black of Pinellas County, Florida. The baby’s paternal grandparents are Debbie and Tim Whitehurst of Hinesville.

The baby also is welcomed by sister Kimberly Zajac.
