Dr. Matilda and Col. (ret.) Warren Riles and Nathaniel Brown announce the engagement of their daughter, Phyllis Macade Brown, to Robert Keith Nichols II, son of Col. (ret.) and Mrs. Robert K. Nichols of Alexandria, Va.
The future bride graduated from Liberty County High School in 2000. The couple met at their alma mater, Florida A&M University in Tallahassee.
The future bride and future groom received bachelor’s degrees of science in mechanical engineering from Florida A&M. They are employed as patent examiners with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
An October 2013 wedding is planned at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hinesville.
