Katie and Allen Strickland of Odum and Clay Crosby announce the engagement of their daughter, Katelyn Crosby of Odum, to Keith P. Miller of Allenhurst, son of Paula and Gregg Higgins of Gum Branch and Paul F. Miller of Ludowici.

The bride-to-be is a 2014 high school graduate and is studying nursing at Coastal Pines Technical College to become a licensed practical nurse.

Her paternal grandparents are Bonnie and the late Robert Crosby of Alma. Her maternal grandparents are Carolyn and Morris Mansfield of Odum.

The groom-elect is a Long County High School graduated and is an equipment operator with Colorado State University.

His paternal grandparents are the late Burl and Theresa C. Miller of Illinois. His maternal grandparents are the late Harlon H. Deloach and Margie Deloach Love of Glennville.

They are planning a 2 p.m. Oct. 22 wedding at Gum Branch Baptist Church.
