Peter and Vickie Ackerman announce the engagement of their daughter, Ferrin Ackerman of Hinesville, to Joshua Fowler, also of Hinesville.
The groom-elect is the son of Richard Fowler of Gum Branch and Marianne and Bob Worley of Hinesville.
The bride-to-be holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in economics with minors in engineering and math from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She is an officer manager.
Her grandparents are Bertram and Mary Ackerman of Westfield, Mass., and LaFern and Erskine Long of Hinesville.
The groom-to-be is an electrician with Pace Electric.
His grandparents are Richard and Mary Malick of Hinesville.
They are planning a wedding for 2 p.m. March 29, 2014, at General Coffee State Park near Nicholls. Roy Broughman will officiate.
The reception will be at the park following the ceremony.
