Martha Sue Darsey and George Ginter were married Aug. 5, 1951 in the Hinesville Methodist Church.

The Midway couple celebrated their 65 years together with a family dinner.

They were blessed with two daughters, Beverly Waters and Luanne Smith, five grandchildren, Blake Waters, Flynt Waters and Blayse Waters Haley, Alie Smith and Lee Smith; and two great-granddaughters, Olivia Waters and Abigail Waters.
