Child advocates being trained

The Atlantic Area Court Appointed Special Advocates will have training for new volunteers from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays from May 13- June 10 at the Liberty County Health Department.
CASA is a nonprofit organization with members who advocate for abused and neglected children who are involved in juvenile court proceedings. These children need advocates who will stand up on their behalf. Without CASA volunteers, these children many times are voiceless.
