The Goldenheirs have added a meeting for November. On Tuesday at noon the group will share a covered dish lunch and Gerald Harris, editor of The Christian Index, the oldest religious newspaper in the nation, will be the guest speaker.
All seniors are invited. The Bible study topic is “How to listen to God.”  Harris will be in Hinesville until Oct. 29 for revival services at First Baptist.
Margie Love was the guest speaker at the regular October meeting. Heritage Farm in Tatnall County, owned by Gene Love, was her focus.
Love showed a slide show of many scenes at the farm, including a horse-drawn plow, corn sheller, cane-bottom chairs, a cane mill, a cotton planter, wagons and other objects, including an outhouse.  The farm is open to visitors.
Goldenheirs is a senior group that usually meets the first Tuesday of each month. The Christmas dinner is planned for Dec. 5.  Tickets are available now.
