The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce and Liberty County Convention and Visitors Bureau will host the eighth annual Christmas in the Park from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1 in Bradwell Park in downtown Hinesville.
Christmas in the Park will feature Santa, a petting zoo and children’s activity booths from various businesses and nonprofit organizations. Children will be able to decorate cookies and create make-and-take crafts. Food vendors and an electric ride-on train also will be available.
Live entertainment will include Inspirations Performance, Snelson-Golden Middle School Chorus, The Levites Band, Cheryl Brett Dance Studio, Liberty County High School Chorus and the Hispanic Heritage Dance Group. The evening will conclude with Crystal Hopkins, a recording artist from Jesup and Atlanta Hawks cheerleader, and Dakota Woods of the band Exit 76 singing “Silent Night.” The lighting of the community Christmas tree will take place between 8-8:30 p.m.
