Hinesville lights up its Christmas tree during an evening of music, hot cocoa, snacks, kids activities and more. It all starts at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Bradwell Park downtown.

It is organized by the city and Hinesville downtown Development Authority and Ameris Bank is also a sponsor.

Fort Stewart

The Christmas tree outside Club Stewart on Fort Stewart will come to life and Santa will arrive at the Tree Lighting Ceremony, which starts at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Featured at the annual event will be seasonal music by members of the 3rd ID Band and songs by a local high school chorus. The audience can join in singing holiday songs with Santa’s Elf. Plus, there will be free MWR Kiddie Train rides.

FRGS will food items and smalls gifts at the Kringle Market. Santa will be available for photos.
