Combat summer boredom with 4-H camps

The Liberty County Extension Service recently released this summer’s schedule for 4-H camps and classes. Camps and classes are scheduled at several locations and costs and participant requirements vary for each session.
The Georgia 4-H Cloverleaf Camp will run from June 28-July 2 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton. Fifth- and sixth-graders are eligible to participate at a cost of $286 per camper.
The Georgia 4-H Junior Camp is from June 14-18 at the Jekyll Island 4-H Center. Seventh- and eighth-graders are eligible to participate at a cost of $305 per camper.
The Georgia 4-H Senior Camp is July 5-9 at Wahsega 4-H Center in Dahlonega. Ninth- and 12th-graders are eligible to participate at a cost of $310 per camper.
There will be a babysitting class from June 6-11 at the Liberty County Extension Service office. Students in fifth through 12th grades are eligible to participate at a cost of $25 per student.
There will be a scrapbooking, sewing and craft class from June 14-17 at the Liberty County Extension Service office. Everyone is welcome. The cost is $30 per participant.
