On June 11, the Liberty County Cosmopolitan Club crowned the winners of the 2010 Miss Teenage Liberty Pageant. Courtney Janelle Rush was chosen as the winner from a pool of seven young ladies. She was crowned by 2009 Miss Teenage Liberty County Olivia Deigh.
Rush is a 2010 graduate of Bradwell Institute, and her hobbies include modeling and dancing. For the talent portion of the competition, Rush performed a West Indian dance. She also was crowned Miss Congeniality.
Lavonda Denise Houston, a student at Liberty County High School, was named Miss Cosmopolitan. Her talent was a keyboard solo.
Pageant contestants participated in sportswear, talent, evening gown and question/answer categories.
