After a long journey of 42 years of service for LRMC/EMS and the surrounding counties, I have retired.
During my many years of service with LRMC/EMS, I have had the privilege of helping and serving many individuals in all capacities. While some situations have been difficult — such as the trauma and death of all little children, the Dixie Krystal Sugar tragedy and the death of my own grandmother — I have also had the pleasure of experiencing the miracle of birth. With the help of God, I made it through.
Now that I am retired, I will volunteer one day a week at the Hinesville Veterans Affairs clinic to give back to the community and will have the free time to be a more-productive City Council member. I am excited as I gear up to run again in the 5th District and to continue to serve all citizens and not only the 5th District.
With your support and with God by my side, my desire is to continue to serve and do the right thing for all the citizens of Hinesville.
I do know that I cannot please everybody, but I promise I will be accessible and visible in the community and will do the best job I can for all citizens.
