Will Darsey, a counselor based in Hinesville, received the John C. Burns II Lifetime Achievement Award at the recent Georgia Licensed Professional Counselors Association Conference in Savannah.

The award recognizes counselors who have demonstrated consistent leadership, shown dedication to the profession and betterment of the field, and worked with stakeholders and legislators to enhance the counseling profession.

The award is presented annually to one therapist in the state.
