DAV asks for help putting on cookout

The Disabled American Veterans Chapter 46 is having a barbecue Saturday, Oct. 18, at 110-A Bagley St., Hinesville.
Chapter commander, Garlon Penland said during the event, veterans and their dependents will have the opportunity to file claims or be assisted with any questions they have. Also, any veterans or dependents who would like to become members of this chapter can sign up during the barbecue.
The chapter is asking for any type of donation to help with the event, which will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Any and all the help you may provide will be greatly appreciated by the Disabled American Veterans. The following list is what they need for the cookout:
6 cases hamburgers
6 cases hot dogs
1 case lettuce
1/2 case tomatoes
10 lbs. onions
6 bottles ketchup
6 bottles mustard
4 bottles dill pickles
6 bottles mayo
6 bottles relish
6 cases mixed chips
6 cases sodas
6 cases water
4 lbs. sliced cheese
2 big bags Buns, hot dog and hamburgers
Paper plates
Knifes and folks
Napkins
1 case trash bags
