The Heritage Bank employees recently brightened prospects for residents at Coastal Manor Long-Term Care Facility to have a joyous Christmas.

Elise Stafford, Coastal Manor’s chief long-term care officer, said Casey Lauver, Natasha Collins, Esme Mejia and Lacretia Melvin, all with the bank’s deposit operation center, brought items, including blankets, puzzles, socks, games and toiletries, to residents.

Stafford said all of the items will be useful to all of the residents.

Coastal Manor, which is associated with Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville, was built in Ludowici in 1999. In 2005, 66-bed facility  was expanded to add a 42-bed specialty-care unit for residents diagnosed with dementia-related disorders. It now is categorized as a 108-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility and is still owned and operated by LRMC.

In September, the center expanded again adding an adult day-care center.
