Choose to do things God's way

Choose, on this day, who you will serve. Choose to become who God is through Jesus Christ. Many are called but few are chosen. God has lain before man life, death, blessings and curses. It is our choice to listen to and obey God’s word. We choose to be chosen through our obedience and willingness to do what the Father tells us to do.
The Lord God begins with righteousness. Every human being is given parents to train them in the way that they should go.
God is going to father every individual, and He calls us to follow Him. Our earthly parents are the first ones we obey and learn from. If we learn to obey our parents, we will obey God. We must do the will of God because God knows what is best for us. We cannot come to God and continue to do our will or the things we want to do.
Many of us fooled our parents, but no one can fool God. God sees and knows everything. The sooner we realize this, the greater our personal relationships will be with God. The problem is that each individual wants to be their own person.
1 Corinthians 15:45 says, “Thus it is written, the first man Adam became a living being (an individual personality); the last Adam (Christ) became a life-giving spirit [restoring the dead to life].
Our individual personalities separate us from God. Because of our sinful nature, we want to be who we are without realizing we must be who God is. We must be born again of the life and nature of Jesus Christ.
Mankind’s old nature follows Adam’s way of doing things — “my way.” The old nature cuts us off from fellowship and a relationship with God. Man lives in a mixture of good and evil and this mixture is called iniquity. It originated in the Garden of Eden when Adam first disobeyed God. This sinful nature tries to tell God what is right and wrong. The sinful nature operating in us is what caused us to demand our way with our earthly parents. We did not respect our parents and we are treating God the same way.
John 1:3-4 says, “All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
We must repent and be changed into God’s image and likeness because as God is, so are we.
1 John 4:17 says, “In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.”
The world must see and know that God is alive and real through Jesus Christ. We are the witness for the world to see Jesus Christ in and through us. Jesus is yours for the asking.
