Church sets Saturday evenings services

Beginning Saturday, Feb. 6, Crossroads Church will be offering an additional Worship service held at 5:15 p.m.
“We’re excited to see the way the community will respond to this new service and expectant of how God will use this change to further His Kingdom,” Pastor Danny Eason said.
“We at Crossroads hope that the Saturday night service will serve as an alternative for people who don't currently attend Sunday services, whether that be due to work schedules or a preference for sleeping in Sunday mornings.”
Eason said the church membership is trying to make sevices more convenient.
“We look forward to welcoming a new crowd, previously untouched by the message of Jesus Christ.”
The format of the service will be identical to Sunday morning service.
“You’ll sing the same songs and hear the same sermon no matter which service you choose to attend,” the pastor said. “Just like our Sunday morning service, visitors should feel welcome to come as you are. Whether you’re wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt or a suit and tie, you'll find that you fit in here.”
Change isn’t new for the church, formerly Faith Baptist, Eason said.
“We’ve been compelled to make many changes over the last year to better lead our community in service to God. Now it’s up to the community to respond. Whether it be Sunday morning or Saturday night, we hope you’ll meet us at the crossroads of 196 West and Airport Road and join us in our new adventures.”
