God is faithful toward us

Mankind has become so unfaithful and uncommitted. Men and women have little regard for faithfulness when it comes to the bonds of marriage. Their relationships lack commitment. There was a time when a man’s word meant something; a man’s word was his bond.
Yet God remains faithful. He continuously is faithful in every aspect. God is not a man, and it is His nature to be faithful and true.
The Lord’s faithfulness is highlighted in Deuteronomy 7:9: “Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.”
The essence of this scripture is that God’s faithfulness is forever. This also is seen in Matthew 28:20: “and, lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
There are times we might be unfaithful to God, yet He remains true to us, which we see in II Timothy 2:13: “If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”
In today’s trying times, God wants us to trust him and keep the faith. No matter what’s going on, we can be confident in God. The Apostle Paul instructs us to be confident and full of faith in Hebrews 10:23: “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised.”
Regardless of what we might be faced with, experiencing or going through, we should remember that we serve a faithful God. He wants us to realize the security we have in him. David said in Psalm 100:5: “For the Lord is good: his mercy is everlasting: and his truth endureth to all generations.”
In summary of God’s faithfulness, I am saying He loves us. God is with us, and God will take care of us. Because of his faithfulness, we are victorious in every aspect of our lives. This is evident in Psalm 91:1,2: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
I will say the Lord is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
