Each of us is living out a legacy, something to be remembered for.
We also have opportunities to be remembered for things we can talk about. As Christians, we can have testimonies of God’s goodness and faithfulness. We can tell stories of life change and transformation to our children, who in return can tell them to their children.
King David was a recipient of such stories as spoken about in Psalm 44:1, where he says, “We have heard it with our ears, O God; our ancestors have told us what you did in their days, in days long ago.” One of the things we can share is what our life was like before we found Jesus Christ and what it is like now. We can talk about the times we went to the Lord in prayer during times of need and how he answered those prayers.
Many times, our life’s story doesn’t even involve words; it’s the example we show in everyday living.
If you don’t yet have a testimony, the good news is that you can. Jesus Christ desires to come into your life and make a difference. You can start building your legacy with your own stories of life change and God’s goodness.
