We must be born again in God's life

God said, “Let us; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; make man in our own image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” Genesis 1:2
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.
“God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man become a living being, a living soul.” Genesis 2:7
The Lord God formed man and named him Adam, which sounds like the Hebrew word for ground, adamah. So, it seems the two may be related.
God gave man everything he needed and there was nothing missing.
God put man in the garden and gave him a job to do.
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” Genesis 2:15
God commanded the man, and gave him freedom to eat from any tree in the garden.
And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden.” Genesis 2:16
However, God forbade him to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, “for when you do, you will surely die.” Genesis 2:17
And as God was, so was the man. As man was, so was God, as they were the same spirit. Adam was clothed in God’s spirit and glory.
God gave Adam a mate, Eve. As the devil deceived his mate, she in turn gave the forbidden fruit to her husband and he ate, and they were plunged into darkness. The moment Adam ate the fruit, he died the life God had given him. His life of sin, evil and darkness took over the whole human race.
From that one act of disobedience, Adam lost it all. You and I also lost as well.
Now, God has given us a new way back to Him — in and through Jesus Christ.  Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He went to Hell with the sins of the whole world upon His soul.  Satan could not keep Him there because when He was judged, Jesus was found not guilty. He had not committed one sin, but he took the blame for ours.
The power of the Holy Spirit raised Jesus Christ from death, Hell and the grave because he was guiltless.
We must be born again.
“I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.[a].” John 3:3
“How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!”
Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” John 3:5
“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” John 5:1
God so loved us that He gave His very best.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
To as many as will receive Jesus, He gives them His power.
Jesus told the people to repent.
From that time Jesus began to preach, he advised us, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” Matthew 4:17
You must be born again of the life of God to get back to God. The life of God in the believer causes us to overcome all sin. It is His life and God cannot and will not sin.
“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” John 5:1
