Matthew 18: "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

Science tells us that no two people in the world have exactly the same voices.

The act of speaking involves the intricate movements of hundreds of muscles in split-second coordination. So every voice is unique, and God wants us to use our distinguished voice to cry out to Him.

From Walthourville to Sunbury and throughout Liberty County, we need Jesus.

This is our new year and no matter where you reside, there are some places in our community where we have missed the mark in 2017 — didn’t complete the task, left unfinished business, gave up, quit, lost interest, went after the money, began to politic or just simply became complacent. And that’s not OK.

There is nothing we can do about our past season, but you can make a difference in your new season by learning from our past mistakes. So what are we going to do about it?

Proverbs 18:21 tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will … eat its fruits."

So what are you saying? No matter how many times we fall short, we have to continue to speak life over our situation and do the things that are going to help us be consistent in accomplishing our goals and fulfilling the will of God.

We must keep the issues that are concerning us on the forefront of the agenda.

When we cry out to God, we must listen to his instructions and move forward. Our problems aren’t solved by us making a lot of noise and doing nothing.

I was once told, "Nobody likes change but a baby." Change can be hard and challenging, but we’re fighting for our personal life and the life of our proud community.

When we begin to talk to God concerning our lives, we have a platform bigger than Sound Off, Facebook, Twitter, blogs or the local news. Whatever we bind, God can bind. Whatever we lose, God can lose.

I just want to know, what are you saying? Because God says whatever you declare, whatever you speak, whatever you say, that’s what I’m gonna do. Speak life over every dead situation.
